SFR is absolutely garbage. Blood pooling in your head, feet fidgeting on the wall. Its really a pain. Alex should leave the “this exercise looks cool so it must me good” mentality behind
The SFR is actually legendary, what in the actual fuck are you even saying? Wall supported is stable, you get super ROM, and the rep range with just bodyweight is low-moderate which is ideal for hypertrophy. And if blood is pooling that much into your head, maybe you should clean up your diet or lose some weight because chances are you got some blood pressure issues. This should not be a deal breaker.
Going too low is bs…injury
Anecdotally, there is a guy in my gym I see dipping with like 80lbs. He is tiny (not short, just skinny). Caloric surplus and maximizing tension is the way to go. I also fell in a trap of trting to increase weight at any cost shortly after i started lifting back in the day. Progress in terms of size stalled. Growth was way better when I just trained like a noob and chased the burn and pump, and simply stuck to the 10-15 rep range. You and BasementBodybuilding spread good content.

Hey Alex I've been doing these grease the groove style, I was doing just singles and now I'm strong enough for doubles, shall I focus on reps or increasing the deficit and drop down to singles with an increased deficit, thanks!
Fuck I miss being 19 and indestructible. With barely any training I was able to do wall assisted handstand push-ups in sets of 5. GODS I WAS STRONG Now I'm just trying to get back to being fat-strong. My push movements are all fucked up because of bicep tendinitis and years of jujitsu.

Brother how do i get there when i weight 130kg? Yes i try to lose weight but sadly no success. And maybe you can help me out with a Problem that i have. I somehow cant use or feel my core while squatting and deadlifting heavy for reps and everytime i try to train abs my lower back starts hurting and cramps up in some parts extremely fast. Someone in the gym told me that i using the wrong technique like only my back while deadlifting. I feel like i Plateaued because of this. I'm not sure what to do and how to directly engage them. Oh and when i try bracing i get extremely dizzy. I tried lifting belts to get a better mind muscle connection but I'm not really sure if it helps.

I first hurt my shoulder on dips a long ago I guess I just wasn’t ready. I busted out 20x5 dips other day. Usually do weighted but that pushed me way further toward failure.

All the best evidence in the world supports this diet! I've noticed zero differences in terms of muscle/strength stuff. But cardio is actually improved, my blood vessels are supple AF now.

Hey Alex. How does changing the width of your hands effect which delt fibers are targeted? Do you alternate the width during different sets or just stick to one width?
One width that's best on the joints. I like closer/medium. Add pauses and tempo for variation or modify ROM.
I remember on his RDL vs Good Morning video he said he favors Good mornings 7/10 times.
This exercise was a bronze and silver era staple: Maxick, Otto Arco, Bobby Pandour, Sig Klein, Reg Park, Jack Lalanne, John Grimek, Marvin Eder, Charles Atlas, Bert Assiriati etc. all religiously implemented them into workouts 💪🏻 Need to focus more on these myself

I was too heavy to easily start calisthenics, so I did a body recomp while weight training for 6 months. The switch to calisthenics was super easy, and I was immediately doing 10 pullups and 30 pushups

Doug Hepburn could do 12 freestanding handstand push-ups at 280lbs and do 3 tiger bend handstand push-ups which is crazy… he used to grease the groove the movement when he worked as a lifeguard, just telling them out on his shift. Bert Assiranti could do a 1 arm freestanding handstand at 240lbs Sig Klein to my knowledge holds the deficit handstand push-up record (19 reps on a bench and freestanding)
